Unveiling the Secrets of Jaymin Eve: The Curee of the Gods

By admin

Jaymin Eve is a renowned author known for her captivating and imaginative novels. One of her notable works is the "Curse of the Gods" series. In this series, Eve takes readers on a thrilling journey through a world filled with gods, magic, and epic adventures. The "Curse of the Gods" series introduces us to a world where gods are very much real and interact with humans. The main protagonist, Willa Knight, lives in this world and is faced with a unique predicament. She is the least valuable member of the powerful Abcurses family, and to make matters worse, she becomes the recipient of a curse by the gods.

I wished Willa has a personality like Emmy. Her childish behaviour had made me rolled my eyes most of the time while reading the book. I loved her best friend, Emmy, who’s smart and strong-headed. However, I would also like to thanks to Willa, who’d made Emmy’s future looking good especially if Cyrus and Emmy would become an item! I can’t wait to read the next short stories featuring the couple.

Since the birth of Topia, Staviti has woven a web of deceit around the truth of Creation, striving only to maintain his power while destroying anything that gets in his way. Then the Abcurses and Willa go to take revenge on the dweller committee head, and Rau shows back up, and apparently he s really interested in the fact that Willa survived the curse so maybe he meant to hit her with it.

5 Star #Review ~ Trickery (Curse of the Gods #1) by Jaymin Eve, Jane Washington

Thank you all so much for picking this book. It was my first 5 star review this year! This book was fantastic! I loved every minute of it and the characters are soooo much fun.

Characters

  • Willa is the MC, she is clumsy, quirky and hilarious! She is the best character, I just how awesome she is. From the beginning of this book I felt like she was going to be a very strong and independent character. She has her damsel moments but she handles it very well and it’s so funny.
  • The Abcurse Boys ~ Yael, Aros, Rome, Coen and Siret. I swoon whenever one of them speaks. I love the banter and I love that they are the boys she is attached too.
  • Emmy ~ Is her BFF, she is strong willed and Independents. She takes care of Willa but sometimes I think they are really there for each other in ways both girls don’t even realize.

Story

  • Sols, God and Dwellers each one serves a different purpose but the shit pretty much hits the fan.
  • I loved how this was set up and it was a little confusing at one point but is easily explained after she reaches Blesswood.
  • World build is AMAZING! Like read this book line for line, word for word, the details paint such a great picture and it leaves you with that feeling of actually being there.
  • Intense moments and just fun all around, at one point I was kind of worried about what was going to happen.
  • Looking for some steamy sex, it’s not in this book, this book is a slow burn that delivers a amazing amount of blue balls, if you had balls, even if you don’t you will still have them.
  • When they all finally have sex, maybe in the coming books, I might pass out because the chemistry is numbing.

Overall

This book is one of my favorites, I loved reading as Willa and experiencing her life with her. She is so freakin funny and those boys. They might be my new favorite Harem or at least one of them. This book is great, I can’t recommend it enough to read. Like if you have read RH, why haven’t you read this yet? or if you plan too, start with this book, like seriously this will set the bar so high but so worth it. Such an amazing read! Loved it! oxox

I can’t tell you whether I am intrigued enough to read or listen to the next book in the series. Maybe if either of them go on sale for less than $4? Or if my library opens up to interlibrary loans again and maybe I can borrow it for the wonderful low cost of free?

Reviews for "The Epic Battle Between Good and Evil: Jaymin Eve's Curee of the Gods"

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Cursed by the Gods" by Jaymin Eve. The characters felt one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it hard for me to connect with them. The plot was also quite predictable, with clichéd tropes that have been done numerous times before. Additionally, I found the writing style to be lackluster and the pacing to be uneven. Overall, this book just didn't live up to my expectations.
2. Alex - 1 star - I cannot understand the hype around "Cursed by the Gods" by Jaymin Eve. The story felt disjointed and poorly executed. The world-building was minimal, leaving me confused and struggling to immerse myself in the narrative. The dialogue was often unnatural and forced, making it difficult to believe in the interactions between the characters. The plot twists were also incredibly predictable, robbing the story of any real suspense. Unfortunately, this book was a major letdown for me.
3. Emily - 2 stars - "Cursed by the Gods" by Jaymin Eve was a struggle for me to get through. The protagonist felt like a Mary Sue, with an overpowered and seemingly flawless personality, which made her unrelatable. The romance felt rushed and lacked development, leaving me uninvested in the relationship. The writing itself was average and failed to capture my attention. Overall, I found this book to be underwhelming and not worth the hype surrounding it.
