The originally written by Ralph McDonald and William Salter, it was made famous by Grover Washington Jr. in the 1970s and covered by many other artists.

Anyway, I find it very free blowing and quite adaptable in sound so I am going to persevere with it.

I think the closer micing helps with the recording a bit, but doesn't seem to improve my playing.
I decided not to play over the intro (you're welcome), so I put some gear shots in, instead of me standing around.

Goldie is loved by children all over the world for her magical spirit and caring nature. She reminds us that the true magic of Christmas is found in giving and spreading joy to others. So, if you ever catch a glimpse of a red-haired elf zooming through the sky, you can be sure it's Goldie, working her magic to make the season bright..
