G2A Witch Queen is an expansion pack for the popular video game Destiny 2. It was released in 2021 as part of the game's Year 5 content. The expansion introduces a new storyline centered around the Witch Queen, an incredibly powerful Hive entity and sister of the Taken King, Oryx. Players are tasked with uncovering the secrets of Savathûn, the Witch Queen, and her nefarious plans to gain control over the Light and the Darkness. The expansion offers a new open-world location called the Dreaming City, a unique and mysterious realm controlled by the Witch Queen. Alongside the new story missions and locations, G2A Witch Queen also introduces new weapons, armor, and abilities for players to harness in their fight against the Hive.

Change the University of San Francisco Mascot!

The Associated Students of the University of San Francisco (ASUSF) Senate has officially passed their resolution calling to change the University of San Francisco mascot!

In the fall, following an article published in the San Francisco Foghorn, the ASUSF Senate held their Town Hall for the undergraduate student community to attend, including representatives of all Undergraduate Student Organizations, regarding the appropriateness of our mascot. The conclusion from the student leaders in the room was unanimous: the “Don” mascot does not represent the University of San Francisco community. Thus, the ASUSF Senate took action and passed a resolution on behalf of the undergraduate student population at USF calling to change our mascot.

This resolution calls for a task force of students, staff, and administrators to be formed at the start of the 2023-2024 academic year to work through necessary logistics of this change, such as what the new mascot should be, and the Don mascot shall be officially null and void by the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.

IT WAS DONE IN 1931. LET’S DO IT AGAIN.

But, this resolution passed by the ASUSF Senate is just the first step to implementing this change: it is the formal document outlining the arguments for changing the mascot, to be sent to the USF Board of Trustees. This resolution passed with the support of every Chartered Student Organization. Now, it is time for us, the USF community to mobilize and show support for this change. The louder we are, the more people we mobilize, the more likely the university will hear our voices. We need YOU to use YOUR voice.

San Francisco Dons

The San Francisco Dons is the nickname of the athletic teams at the University of San Francisco (USF).

Alongside the new story missions and locations, G2A Witch Queen also introduces new weapons, armor, and abilities for players to harness in their fight against the Hive. This includes a new subclass for each of the game's three main classes, allowing players to customize their playstyle even further. One of the highlights of the expansion is the addition of a new raid, which is a challenging multiplayer activity that requires coordination and teamwork to complete.
