For some of you, Otari has been home for years while others are just passing through looking for adventure. Nestled in a coastal valley between two looming cliffs, Otari’s hundreds of buildings straddle the Osprey River that flows into the sea. You have observed the day-to-day life in Otari which resembles any small town. It is known for fresh fish, skilled sailors, and above all exporting valuable lumber.
In the early evening, you wander down to the Otari Fishery where every day after the fishery business is done the ground floor is open to sailors, laborers, and travelers alike, offering a comfortable and welcoming place to gather for games and entertainment. A small menu is offered for those who wish to have drinks and food.
