Once upon a time, in a small village by the sea, there lived a witch named Morgana. She was known for her dark powers and her watery demise. The 8/128 GB nubia Red Magic 3 comes in Red or Black for CNY3,499 ($520/€470), while the monster 12/256 GB variant is CNY4,299 ($640/€575) and it has a Red-Violent gradient or a Camo finish on the back.
The gaming capabilities of the phone include second-generation ICE liquid cooling and an actual fan that lowers the phone temperature with 16 degrees Celsius. The new gaming device offers flagship chipset and 12 GB RAM, but it stands out with a huge battery, two types of internal cooling, 8K and 1920 fps slow-mo video recording.
But despite their efforts, Morgana had a way of infiltrating their lives. Legend had it that anyone who dared to challenge Morgana would face a watery demise. She had the ability to control the sea and would use its powers to drown her enemies in a wave of darkness.
nubia Red Magic 3s to go global on October 16, price confirmed
nubia has launched the Red Magic 3 in May and updated it with the Red Magic 3s with a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, in early September. The 3s was available in China for the past month for CNY2,999 ($419) for the 8/128 GB variant.
Now the company has confirmed that it is arriving on the global scene and will have a slightly higher price tag - $479 / €479 / £419 for the very same 8/128 GB option in Eclipse Black and Mecha Silver.
The latest flagship chipset by Qualcomm is only one of many impressive specs about the phone. It also has a 90 Hz display with 6.65” AMOLED panel and a 48 MP camera with the Sony IMX586 sensor. It is capable of taking 8K videos, but only at 15 fps. The storage is UFS 3.0 and the device comes in two flavors - one with a fan, the other with liquid cooling.
Officially, the nubia Red Magic 3s sells in three colors - Black, Silver, and Cyber Shade, which is a gradient from Red to Blue-Purple. The latter will be sold only with 12 GB RAM and 256 gigs of storage with a price tag of $599 / €599 / £529.
