Unraveling the History of the Good Witch of the East

By admin

The Good Witch of the East is a character from L. Frank Baum's famous novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. While she is not a prominent character in the story, her presence is felt throughout the book. In the beginning of the novel, the Good Witch of the East is presented as a symbol of goodness and kindness. She is described as having a gentle and sweet nature, and her magic is used to help and protect those in need. This is seen when she gives Dorothy the silver slippers to protect her on her journey to the Emerald City.

So why the hell jungle? He can farm safelane so easy now Like I say, it is situational. Sometimes we have an offlaner who want's solo lane, and we don't have a greedy team and someone like a witch doctor could farm safelane for a fast aghs etc.

It is situational, as we know that an AFK jungler is not always great, but if you have some heros which can create an early impact and let you farm jungle for some time, it works really really well. Poor Mans Shield Only I used to take 1x Clarity but now find that I don t even need, and if I did need, then I d just courier one out or make a well trip.

Situational Guide - Jungle Juggernaut.

Since my favourite hero in the game has been buffed to infinity (except slight nerf today - which does affect this) I have loved playing the Juggernaut a lot more. He is such a versatile hero and can be played in any lane, and virtually any position. Even as a 5 role he has his place if you build right, a 5% per second heal is the best in game etc. I play Juggernaut quite a lot, and a lot of the time my favourite place for him is the Jungle. It is situational, as we know that an AFK jungler is not always great, but if you have some heros which can create an early impact and let you farm jungle for some time, it works really really well. I decided to make this guide because every game I say I am going to Jungle on Jug there is at least one person who says "wtf?".

What can I achieve when jungling on Juggernaut? Basically, by 21-22 minutes I have PMS, Battlefury, Power Treads & Aghanims. Usually a few kills by then, maybe one or two towers taken. Battlefury is usually 12-13 minutes (which is pretty quick including a PMS).

So why the hell jungle? He can farm safelane so easy now Like I say, it is situational. Sometimes we have an offlaner who want's solo lane, and we don't have a greedy team and someone like a witch doctor could farm safelane for a fast aghs etc.

Starting Items

  • Poor Mans Shield Only (I used to take 1x Clarity but now find that I don't even need, and if I did need, then I'd just courier one out or make a well trip).

Starting Build Ok, so this is dependent on the situation. Don't skill anything at level 1. Ask your team if it is okay that you secure the bounty rune for yourself (Every team I have had let's me take, but if your posistion 1 carry say's that he wants, let them take). If you get the rune, go to easy camp and make sure it spawns (if it is blocked, we do things different).

  • If easy camp spawns at 00:30, skill E first. Killing the camp will ensure level 2, where you take W. As soon as you have 225 gold, courier out a quelling blade asap.
  • Rotate between the medium camps and try not to use healing ward until you are level 3 (where you take W again), you can do this by choke points with quelling blade etc.
  • First item to buy is Void Stone (875g) > Broadsword (1200g) > Claymore (1400g) > Ring Of Health (875g) to finish Battlefury. I have experimented with different ways, eg. building RoH before broadsword, but I seem to get Battlefury finished about 30-60 seconds faster with Broadsword first. After Battlefury is done, everything is easy, you farm rapidly and build treads in a few minutes, into Aghs.

What to do whilst Jungling & Skillbuild

  • So, by level 6 I have 1 2 1 1 +1 Stats, and then from there onwards I take stats for 3 levels, and then building into more E, taking ult at 16. By 16 I have maxed out E, the rest in stats.
  • Keep a look out for easy kills on the safelane or mid, with omnislash you can gank virtually anyone without a reliable escape, if your lane has a stun of a couple of seconds. With kills it helps lanes and accelerates your farm greatly.

You haven't told us what to do if you dont get the rune, or the easy camp is blocked

  • If the easy camp is blocked, take healing ward first and you may need a clarity bringing out to you also. Take the easiest medium camp (eg. satyrs or golems) first and you will be on your way to normal
  • If you don't get the rune but easy camp spawns, stack it at 00:53, take your Q and then kill both stacks with bladefury for easy lvl 2.

Any other points?

  • Jungling is much much easier/quicker on the dire side, I rarely take Juggernaut for jungle on radiant.
  • Like I say, this is situational and does not work for every lineup, make sure it works for your team and then do it.
  • I know loads of people know how to jungle with Juggernaut. But so many don't, and this is my working theory for him. There are many other variations, a lot of people rush vlads which is also legit. I rush battlefury because of the synergy with his ult (again - situational I know, but for illusion heros, or heros that bring people together eg. void, magnus, axe, dark seer etc. it rinses)
  • I am only a trench 3.8k player, so not a real authority on this sort of stuff, but it works in the trench.
