Voodoo Dolls as Tools of Healing: An Alternative Approach to Medicine?

By admin

A scary voodoo doll is a doll that is associated with the practice of voodoo. Voodoo is a religion that originated in West Africa and was brought to the Americas by African slaves. In voodoo, a doll is often used as a representation of a person and is believed to have the power to influence that person's life. A scary voodoo doll is typically made from materials such as cloth, straw, or clay. It is often created in the likeness of a specific individual and is used to cast spells or perform rituals intended to harm or control that person. The doll is seen as a vessel for the spirits and is believed to be able to transmit the intentions of the person performing the ritual.

The book provides the token “history of the tarot” section followed by a section on Green Witchcraft in the tarot which provides information on the deck’s philosophy and elemental associations. There’s also a section that suggest what multiple Minor Arcana of the same type or numbers can indicate. Few accompanying books offer this information.

Whilst the book points out that the deck draws on themes from stories of the Goddess, the God and the Wheel of the Year and the significance of each to the creator s practice, this is something you can decide whether to work with or not. Their function is to provide a means for a reader to access the psychic intuition that is naturally present in all people but is more developed in some than others.

The doll is seen as a vessel for the spirits and is believed to be able to transmit the intentions of the person performing the ritual. While some people may find the idea of a scary voodoo doll fascinating or intriguing, others may find it unsettling or frightening. The belief in the power of voodoo dolls and their ability to cause harm or bring about negative outcomes is deeply rooted in the belief system of those who practice voodoo.

Tarot QRG

This is a handy flip book with all four Minor Arcana Suits and Major Arcana’s divinatory meanings and reversed meanings. Reading the cards is much easier when you can reference them in my flip book guide. I created this tool for myself, to make my daily Tarot Practice. The large books that come with Tarot our great but they are a lot to read, in the writers views, and time consuming to use. With this tool I was able to do Tarot more often because it was a manageable amount of time. I also found that I strengthened my intuition because the information is to the point and I have to interpret this into meaning. I loved this tool so much I shared it with my friends, who also love it. My favorite product has grown to become a popular Tarot Tool.

It comes with a pretty tassel book mark on the metal ring closure. There are 8 colors to choose from; select your color in the form at checkout.

Comes in two sizes:

- Original - 1/2 page

- Pocket Sized - 1/4 page

The Quick Reference Guide is laminated to protect from all the things you use in your Tarot craft but we offer a Digital Download version if laminated is not your thing.

Don’t forget to check out the Tarot Mats and Layouts we have in stock. They are also available as a Divine Download or Laminated purchased individually or in bulk buys.

Stay tuned because I have more in the works for the QRG line including but not limited to; tessomancy, palmistry, dream magick, kitchen witch and more. The Tarot and Rune versions have been very successful and the gratitude I have will fuel my next QRG!

Nonetheless though, I’m looking forward to learning more about plant magick along the way. It’s highly relevant to the path my life seems to be taking. I’m eagerly awaiting the arrival of Christopher Spicer’s book How to Grow a Garden of Medicinal Healing Plants and Herbs that I bought on a whim a couple of days ago. I get the feeling this knowledge will add another layer of interpretation. As someone with more than ten animal decks, (as in no people present decks), I’ve been drawn to “reading” animal messages when they appear on tarot cards and in the world around me so I really appreciate their presence here.
Scary voodo dol

It is important to note that voodoo dolls, and voodoo in general, are often misunderstood and misrepresented in popular culture. Voodoo is a complex and diverse religious practice that encompasses a wide range of beliefs and rituals. The use of scary voodoo dolls to cause harm or control others is not representative of voodoo as a whole. In conclusion, a scary voodoo doll is a doll used in the practice of voodoo to harm or control another person. While it may be associated with fear and danger, it is important to separate the reality of voodoo from the sensationalized portrayals often seen in media and popular culture..
