The world of magic is full of wonders and possibilities. It offers us a glimpse into realms beyond our understanding, where the laws of nature are suspended and the impossible becomes possible. However, not all who wield magic do so with humility and respect. There are those who become insolent through their mastery of the arcane arts, using their powers to manipulate and exploit others. When someone becomes insolent through magic, they become intoxicated by their own abilities. They see themselves as superior to those who lack their powers and use their magic to assert dominance and control.

I got my ears pierced at the pediatrician’s office, back in the day. They used a gun, but my mom was much more confident about it being sterile. One of my holes closed up about 10 years later, so I got that hole re-pierced at Claire’s – it was on a whim in New Orleans, so I guess I wasn’t thinking about the cleanliness of the gun! But I haven’t had any issues with the new piercing. I’ll have to remember the tattoo parlor though, just in case I decide to get another 🙂

They see themselves as superior to those who lack their powers and use their magic to assert dominance and control. Instead of using their powers for the greater good, they prioritize their own desires and ambitions above all else. This insolence through magic often leads to a cycle of abuse and corruption.

This is really interesting. I got mine pierced by a place with a gun, and my mom surprised me with it so that I wouldn’t have time to be scared, which backfired a bit because last minute stuff freaks me out. It wasn’t Claire’s but I think a place very similar. But I’ve had trouble ever since. I can’t wear even solid gold earrings without my ears getting swollen and itchy after a few minutes and oozy after not much more time. I wonder if this could be related? I just don’t wear earrings anymore…there doesn’t seem to be any point, but it’s always made me kind of sad. I wonder if I’d do better at a place like this?

Those who become intoxicated by their own power become increasingly detached from the consequences of their actions. They no longer see the harm they inflict on others as significant, viewing them as mere pawns in their grand schemes. This disregard for others' well-being tarnishes the very essence of magic and taints its potential for good. It is important to remember that magic, like any other form of power, should be wielded responsibly. Those who become insolent through magic forget this fundamental truth. They lose touch with their own humanity and become consumed by their thirst for power. In their relentless pursuit of dominance, they become blind to the beauty and wonder of the world around them. To prevent the spread of insolence through magic, it is crucial to foster a culture of respect and humility among those who practice the arcane arts. Magic should not be seen as a means to control and manipulate others, but as a tool for self-improvement and the betterment of society. By emphasizing the importance of ethical conduct and empathy, we can ensure that magic is used for the greater good and not as a means to gratify one's ego. In conclusion, insolence through magic is a destructive and dangerous path. It corrupts the very essence of magic and undermines its potential for good. By promoting humility, respect, and ethical conduct, we can prevent the spread of insolence through magic and ensure that its power is harnessed for the betterment of all..
