Help with grandmother's Magid

I found this beautiful Magid hand purse while looking through my grandmother's cedar chest. I can't recall ever seeing her use it. I appears to be in very good condition. Vintage purses are not something I normally dabble it, so I'm hoping some of you fine people will be able to help me with history about the Magid purses. I am having much trouble finding any information on the maker. I've included some photos that may help.

It has fine beading througout the purse and appears hand beaded as well as hand-stitched in some places. The clasp has what I assume to be a sorts of trademark, as nearly all other photos of vintage Magid's I've seen also have, - the clear gem-like stone on the top of the clasp. Inside is the Magid logo, and also inside I found a small beveled mirror with "Pedro Mayorga Fundado en 1900" printed on the back. Was this a part of the original? or just left inside years ago?

I have a Magid evening bag, and the label says Italy. Research indicates the company is/was American. How does one date this purse? It is crocheted metallic yard, with a chain handle.

Yet another sign partially visible beneath Magid at the bottom is a sign for the Flobert Silk Underwear Co. (click for image). Flobert were located here from 1923 to 1935. The founder of Flobert was Samuel Dinitz (1897-1940). He was the son of Morris Dinitz (1870?-1934), a furrier, who immigrated from Russia ca. 1891. When Samuel Dinitiz registered for the World War I draft in 1918 he was employed at M. Dinitz Co., 107 W. 25th St., New York. M. Dinitz, Furs, were listed in business directories from 1910 to 1920. In 1936 the Flobert Silk Underwear Co. moved from 30 E. 33rd St. to 136 Madison Ave. They were in business at that address from 1936 to 1972. Flobert also did business under the names Artex Undergarments and Mitzi Negligees. The "Flo" in the name Flobert is probably in recognition of Samuel Dinitz's wife, Florence, but I don't know who the "bert" refers to.
