Does anyone know of a way to use a bike set up for Mavic’s Speed Release thru axle system on a trainer? I know Kurt Kinetic makes thru axles for trainer use, but anyone who owns a Mavic axle knows they are. complicated! Kurt’s site certainly doesn’t show one compatible. (I’ve sent them an email.)

I’d be surprised if something didn’t exist to allow the use of a bike set up for this system on a trainer, since Mavic specifically designed and markets this toward road (and by extension, cyclocross) racers. And your average crit and cx racers warm up on trainers routinely, as do many for other road race disciplines.

You can use a thru-axel on the Tacx trainers; check their website for your specific question.

If anyone else has this question, the answer is: it doesn't matter that your frame is Speed Release specific. Even though Mavic's axles have 10 mm notches in them, regular straight 12 mm thru-axles for trainers will work. The thread pitch is 1.0 mm. These are your choices:

Yes, I did get the Robert Axle Project. I can't figure it out for the life of me, but they don't work! My thread pitch gauge measures 1.0 mm thread pitch on the Speed Release axle, and of course it measures it as 1.0 on the RAP axle labeled 1.0. but the two don't mate?! They are of course also both 12 mm diameter. I can't figure it out. It looked like the thread depths were the same, but couldn't really measure that. Do thread pitches also have different angles or something? I have no idea.

All I know is, a RAP 1.0 mm axle doesn't work, and I can assume a Kurt Kinetic Traxle 1.0 mm will also not work. Not sure if there's a solution. I'd recommend if you are seeking a road or cx bike that you like to warm up on the trainer on, either don't get it if it has Mavic Speed Release, or see if the bike manufacturer can supply a derailleur hanger with a different standard.

The body is two CNC'd and anodized aluminium side plates, with the chrome vanadium-plated tool bits all bolted together using their center pivot design. When folded up the tool is a manageable size and fairly flat, while the neoprene cover keeps the bits in place and prevents any sharp edges from tearing the tube that it might be stored beside or ripping your jersey pocket.

Reviews for "How Mavoc d rap Has Redefined Masculinity in the Hip-Hop Scene"

1. Sarah - 1/5 Stars
"Mavoc d rap is one of the worst rappers I have ever listened to. His lyrics are basic and lack creativity, and his flow is monotonous and boring. I could not connect with any of his songs, as they all sounded the same to me. Overall, I found his music to be uninspiring and a waste of my time."
2. Mark - 2/5 Stars
"I am not a fan of Mavoc d rap's music. While he may have a decent flow, his content is lacking depth and substance. The majority of his songs revolve around typical topics like money, cars, and parties, which I find unoriginal and cliché. Additionally, his delivery and energy levels seem lackluster, making it hard for me to engage with his music on any level. There are much better rappers out there with more meaningful lyrics and unique styles."
3. Emily - 1/5 Stars
"I cannot understand the hype around Mavoc d rap. His songs all sound the same, and his lyrics are repetitive and predictable. It feels like he puts no effort into differentiating his music from the rest of the mainstream rap scene. I find his music boring and unmemorable, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for quality rap music."
4. John - 2/5 Stars
"Mavoc d rap's music just doesn't do it for me. While he has a decent flow and production, I find his lyrics to be generic and uninteresting. His songs lack depth and fail to make any real impact. I prefer rappers who push the boundaries and bring something new to the table, rather than those who simply follow the trends. Unfortunately, Mavoc d rap falls into the latter category, making him forgettable in my eyes."
5. Jessica - 1/5 Stars
"Mavoc d rap's music is nothing special. His lyrics are shallow and lack any real substance, often focusing on materialistic themes that I find unimpressive. He fails to bring any unique or insightful perspective to his songs, which leaves me uninterested and bored. Overall, I would not recommend Mavoc d rap to anyone looking for rap music with depth and meaningful content."
