I went there 8/28/20. The girl said “walk back” and I said OK. Nearly snapped my neck and stepped on bone not muscle. I have had many walk on my back and never had a more awkward effort. She then sat on the dresser and was pushing on my shoulders with her feet. Again, awkward, like she had no training. She then put icy hot or something on my neck. We used to go there frequently. Although the massages are really good, you will not feel respected. We’ve had appointments twice that were not honored when we arrived. We walked in at the appointed time and were told “No no we’re busy. Come back!” This has happened twice within two weeks. Rude and inconsiderate.

My husband and I had a massage here today. The massage was great, but the only suggestion I would have is to be VERY clear about what you want before going into the room. There is a bit of language barrier, and it is not easy to communicate. We had a misunderstanding because we asked for a regular massage and afterward they said the cost was for deep tissue massage. Accents is a fabulous salon. I was in town for a wedding (a guest) and made an appointment with Kennedy for a shampoo and blowout. When I shared pictures of my dress with her she immediately suggested a hairstyle that was perfection. She worked quickly and meticulously- it was as if she waved a magic wand over my head :-). I had initially gone here for a spa day for my birthday. At the end of my massage, I had my nails done by Shelly and after a lovely conversation, I had found out she also cuts hair! I had been searching for the better part of 9 months for a new stylist and she was able to get me in the next week! I love this salon. My stylist, Payton, is extremely professional and very accommodating of my schedule. I visited Charlie's for the first time last week with a friend; usually I go to Escape Salon in Waldorf.

The atmosphere was nice. Not too busy, not too quiet. Lots of room. The pedicure was completed in a room with just 2 chairs so that was a plus - privacy for my friend and I! Not like a lot of salons where you're crammed in.

Drinks were provided. The staff was super friendly. The salon was really clean.

I had a Milk and Honey pedicure. The price was competitive with other salons. The pedicure lasted about 30 minutes, most of which was a massage. My feet look great! I can't complain!

I plan to return and try out other services.

Mostly pleasant experience and ambiance. Took about 25 minutes to have a tech start on me, even though I had an appointment. It was nice not walking in to the smell of fumes. The rose sugar pedicure was very relaxing.

However, prices were a bit high compared to what I am used to.

I have been to this salon three times now and will continue from this point forward!! Scheduled pedicures for my girlfriends and I and had a great time! They are very professional and clean. I got a gel manicure most recently and it lasted longer than any manicure I've ever had! Almost too long as I ended up needing to have it removed because it was growing out so well! Ok. so when you walk in you see how beautiful this place is! The staff is all very friendly and seem to know their regulars by name very well. This is not your "traditional" nail salon like you see in our area. They do very good work, very professional and clean! I have been to many "nail salon/ spas" before. They don't amount to the atmosphere of Charlies. I have been going here for 2 years now. If my pedicure needs to be done, here is where I go even if I need one really bad. I like how they fill your request on what type of design you want on your nails. I usually ask for a flower which is common. They actually draw a flower on your nail. They don't take a dab of paint and smear it on your nail with a dot in the middle. They have real talent, take their time, and are pleasant. The massage chairs are wonderful while getting a pedicure. You are offered tea, lemonade, or water to drink while getting your service. Yes it is free. The decor is wonderful and the music played is relaxing. You have your own privacy with a curtain that closes with 4 chairs so you and your friends/ family can get your feet done at the same time. They also have 2 rows of chairs like you would usually see when you go to a typical "spa"/ nail salon. There is a curtain that closes also for that area. I am always satisfied with the work that is done. I often recommend my friends to dump where they have been going and try Charlies out. Yes it costs more than other places, but you are getting quality.

My daughter went to another nail salon for a manicure and within a couple of days her nails were coming off. From that point on she only prefers Charlies. Charlie is a nice guy that interacts with his clients. He is fast and professional. As is his employees. I saw him file and shape a nail at the same time. That takes skill.

I met Charlie about 5 years ago at a previous salon in the area and was immediately impressed. He's fast, reliable, hardworking, pleasant, funny and oohhh so very talented. HE IS EXTREMELY PICKY and his own worst critic so you know he's going to make sure you are fabulous when you leave him. I don't have to say a word. I show up, sit down, and relax. (No hovering to show him what to do, fussing about how I like certain things, or trying to "communicate" what I need or want in detail). After my first meeting with him, I thought "Yay! he gets me!" And ladies we all know how difficult that can be right? hahah!

This man does it all, nails, hair, lashes, massages, makeup tattooing and even tells jokes! :-)

Charlie (and Hana) have been working so hard for so long, and are so very much loved and followed throughout the community, that it only made sense for him to open his own place.
