  • The entrance to the venue is on the southbound side of Route 1 (across the street from the stadium). Plan for big time traffic - like gameday traffic.

Prepare for LONG waits in traffic

I didn't expect this to be the case, but prepare for LONG waits in traffic. Like, REALLY long. It's crazy, and kid of ruins the excitement and any magic of the lights. For a venue that handles large numbers of fans for football games, you'd think that there would be a smoother traffic pattern to get here. If the traffic is just as bad for football games, I guess I'm glad I don't have season tickets. Do better.

Magic of Lights - traffic delays logistics

This happened last year as well - the traffic that you sit in to get to this display is ridiculous. Doesn't matter which was you enter - I'd say go as early (after dark) that you can, or go later in the evening. The 6:30pm - 8:30pm slot is rather a traffic nightmare. While the light show is decent, the annoyance of getting there is certainly not worth it.

An hour and a half wait with 3 kids ridiculous

We showed up at 6:30 with a carload of kids and didn't expect to have to wait for an hour and a half. There were about 10 lines (not an exaggeration) of vehicles and we were sandwiched in. God forbid there was an emergency - there would have been no way to escape. They took forever to have the lines go through and by that time, the kids were miserable and wanted to leave. Never again!

Magic of ripoffs

We went last night. I paid $50 online to see a $30 at the gate. It's just OK. Not worth $50 for sure.

Reviews for "Celebrate the Season with Magic of Lights in Foxboro"

1. Jane Doe - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magic of Lights in Foxboro. The whole experience felt very underwhelming and not worth the price of admission. The lights were mostly basic and predictable and didn't really have any wow factor. The displays were also quite small and spread out, so there were long stretches of darkness in between. Overall, it just felt like a very lackluster event, especially compared to other light festivals I've been to. I wouldn't recommend it.
2. John Smith - 1 star - I had high hopes for the Magic of Lights in Foxboro, but it fell way short of my expectations. The entire event felt very disorganized and chaotic. The traffic control was terrible, resulting in long wait times just to get into the venue. Once inside, the displays were underwhelming and repetitive. It felt like they just reused the same few designs over and over again. Additionally, the event was overcrowded, making it difficult to even enjoy the lights. It was a huge letdown and definitely not worth the money. Save your time and find a better light festival to attend.
3. Sarah Johnson - 2 stars - I didn't have a great experience at the Magic of Lights in Foxboro. While there were some nice displays, overall, it felt like there was a lack of creativity and variety. The lights were mostly just basic colors and shapes, and there wasn't much uniqueness to them. The event also lacked a cohesive theme or storyline, making it feel disjointed and random. The ticket prices were quite high for what was offered, and I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I wouldn't go back or recommend it to others.
