Sancta Lucia (singable translation)
Note: this is a traditional Swedish song. You can see the original words here. I wrote a translation that could be sung. Lucia is a Christian saint, but I expect she is the echo of something much older. The word "Lucia" means "light."

I've been sent quite a few titles of great Yule songs with pagan themes after I asked for suggestions on A Bad Witch's Blog earlier this month. If you have any further nominations, please leave the details on comment below. Then, in the next few days, I'm going to post a poll of all the nominations so we can vote on our favourites.

1. Kelly - 1 star - I had such a terrible experience at Magic Clippers Baldwin Place. First off, the receptionist was not friendly at all and made me feel unwelcome from the moment I walked in. Then, when it was finally my turn for a haircut, the hairstylist seemed completely uninterested and rushed through the whole process. The worst part was when I saw the final result - my hair looked like it had been cut by an amateur. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
2. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with my visit to Magic Clippers Baldwin Place. The salon itself was outdated and in need of some serious renovation. The stylist who was assigned to me was not skilled or experienced, and it was evident in the way she handled my hair. She seemed unsure of what she was doing and I left the salon with a haircut that I was not happy with. The prices were also quite high for the quality of service provided. I will definitely not be going back.
3. Sarah - 1 star - I had high hopes when I booked an appointment at Magic Clippers Baldwin Place, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The stylist I had was rude and unprofessional. She seemed inexperienced and didn't have much knowledge about different hair types or styles. The salon itself was also not very inviting, and the prices were higher than expected for the quality of service provided. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and regretful of my decision to visit this salon.
