The Penguin Co-Editor PositionEach year a new editor or duo of co-editors takes the helm of our beloved student newspaper, keeping The Penguin fresh, relevant, and ever-evolving, just like our student body! This year our penguin co-editors are Brittany Bryant & Caroline Jesalva!
Along with the opportunity to shape the look of the publication, editors are paid for a total of twenty hours per month. They are responsible for creating themes and recruiting contributors for eight issues during the academic year.
Applications for the editor or co-editor position include a resume, cover letter, writing sample, and letter of recommendation for the 2022-2023 year, open sometime around mid-April each year.

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was highly disappointed with the Magic car wash and lube center. The moment I entered, the staff seemed uninterested and lethargic. The car wash itself was mediocre at best, leaving streaks and spots on my vehicle. The lube service was equally subpar, as I found out later that they used a low-quality oil that caused engine issues. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a thorough and satisfactory car wash and maintenance service.
2. Mark - 1 star - My experience at the Magic car wash and lube center was absolutely horrendous. Firstly, the staff was rude and unprofessional. They didn't even bother to explain the services they were providing or answer my questions properly. Secondly, the car wash left my vehicle dirtier than before! I had to go to another car wash afterward to actually get a clean car. Lastly, the lube service was done hastily and carelessly, resulting in a leak in my engine. I strongly advise people to steer clear of this place if they value their time, money, and car.
3. Laura - 2 stars - The Magic car wash and lube center failed to meet my expectations. The car wash itself took too long and left my car covered in water spots. Furthermore, the waiting area was uncomfortable and dirty. As for the lube service, they used an oil that was not recommended for my vehicle, leaving me concerned about potential engine damage. The staff also lacked basic customer service skills and failed to address my concerns. In conclusion, I will not be returning to this establishment and would advise others to find a more reliable car wash and lube center.
