What I appreciated about Volume 1 , was that although it had that distinct slice of life feel to it, we still learned a lot about the world and characters interwoven with unique plot points. There s the tiniest of details woven into the dialogue that help build on the unique witchy magical world that comes to life in this rural part of Aomori, Japan.
