I lost my runes too and it's not like the install is complex. Created "mods" folder in "Game" folder and copied the .dll into it.. no love.
Tried again but not launching through ModEngine2, just in case, and still no love. Game is in offline mode, stuff is in the right place.

I'm writing this for future readers.
You need to use the Elden Mod Loader: https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/117 as it says in the installation directions on this mod's page. Elden Mod Loader comes with 3 files that are put into the Elden Ring "Game" directory. You get a "mods" folder, a DLL, and a config. As of 1.10, this mod still works.

I'm getting an error when I run this saying Could not find signature. I am using Mod Engine 2 to launch the mod as an external dll. Any idea how to fix?

why is it a rar file, why cant it be just a win zip file or something, now i need to install extra a special programm just to extract it.

Compared, 7z rules them all, it's faster in compressing and extracting at a higher compression rate. Was always better than RAR and ZIP anyway. The only downside might be, it has no recovery like RAR. But who needs recovery, when you have good working HDD/SSD/M2, pack something on it and upload it. There's no need for recovery at all. Recovery only come to use, if bytes jump because of a faulty drive.

But using Runes you didn’t earn yourself is basically cheating and frankly FromSoftware should patch away the ability to give away Runes entirely. They don’t let players drop Smithing Stones or weapons of a higher level than the receiving player owns—why allow the transference of Runes?
