Hello! Has anyone had a stuck battery before? I'm trying to get it out but it just won't work. I've used a paper clip and a thin allen key (please no judgement) but it won't budge. I bought Neewer batteries off Amazon.

If you were just using the camera when it got stuck I would wait till it cools down before trying to remove it. Try some real sticky tape to try and get a it out just a bit. then you can get pliers to pull it out completely or try this: https://www.google.com/search?client=sa . a77LfQCw35
We're all guilty of trying to pay the cheapest and we've all been burned. We've ;learned to pay a little more by doing research and avoiding issues like these.
Baxxtar batteries are almost impossible to get in the US.
I found these if you want to go knockoff. A little cheaper than the Blackmagic ones, which are already cheaper than the original Canons.They even mention the battery won't get stuck. What happens is that those cheap knock-offs batteries swell and gets stuck. Either go with the Blackmagic or Canon LP-E6, pay a bit more and be alleviated from such problems.

DaVinci Resolve is very capable even for free, but you need the right hardware!
