Miss Almira Gulch, simply known as Miss Gulch is a minor antagonist in The Wizard of Oz. She is the strict neighbour of Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and Dorothy Gale and the Wicked Witch's Kansas counterpart.
She was portrayed by the late Margaret Hamilton, who also portrayed the Wicked Witch of the West and the Wicked Witch of the East.
The set comes with a detailed instructional DVD hosted by Criss Angel himself, where he explains and demonstrates the secrets behind each trick. This ensures that beginners can easily understand and learn the tricks, regardless of their age or experience level. One of the main advantages of this magic set is its focus on simplicity and effectiveness.
Biography [ ]
Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, run to their farm in Kansas after an encounter with Miss Gulch, who hit Toto on the back with a rake. No one at the farm seems interested in this, however. Miss Gulch arrives and announces that she will have Toto destroyed because Toto bit her on one of her legs and she got the sheriff to give her an order for it. She takes Toto away in a basket on her bike, but Toto escapes and runs back to Dorothy. Realizing Miss Gulch will return for him, Dorothy and Toto decide to run away. She did not arrive as the tornado struck the farm.
Inside the tornado, Dorothy saw Miss Gulch riding on her bicycle, but Miss Gulch suddenly transformed into the Wicked Witch of the East. Her bicycle becomes a broom at that same moment.
It is unknown if Miss Gulch suffered the same fate as the Witch of the East (Given she turned into her) or is killed during the storm while bicycling back to her home or the Gales will be paid another visit by her looking to take Toto away again. However, in most professional play productions, the script used often has Uncle Henry mention to Dorothy when she wakes up that, "A telephone pole fell on her". While that was her fate in the theatrical adaptations, it can be implied to be the same in the film.
The tricks included in the set are carefully chosen to be easy to learn but still impressive to the audience. This allows beginners to quickly master the tricks and perform them confidently. Reviews for "Discover the Secrets of Criss Angel's Most Famous Tricks with the Ultra Magic Set"
1. Samantha - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Criss Angel Ultra Magic Set. The tricks were so basic and easily figured out. It felt like I was doing magic for toddlers, not something that would impress anyone older than 5. The quality of the props was also very poor, with flimsy materials that broke easily. Overall, I felt like I wasted my money on this set and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a more advanced or impressive magic kit.
2. Mike - 2 stars - While the Criss Angel Ultra Magic Set had some potential, it fell short in many ways. The instructions were poorly written and difficult to follow, making it frustrating to learn and perform the tricks. Additionally, the tricks themselves were not as impressive as I had hoped. They were mostly simple card tricks and coin tricks that I have seen before. The set also lacked variety, with only a few tricks included. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of creativity and quality in this magic set.
3. Kelly - 2 stars - The Criss Angel Ultra Magic Set did not live up to my expectations. The tricks included were very basic and easily figured out with minimal practice. I was hoping for more complex and advanced tricks that would impress my friends and family, but instead, I was left feeling underwhelmed. The quality of the props was also questionable, as they were flimsy and cheaply made. I would not recommend this magic set to anyone looking for a more challenging and professional kit.
