1. Mark - 2 stars - I really wanted to like "Beginning of the Witch" as I am a fan of fantasy novels, but unfortunately, it fell flat for me. The plot felt disjointed and rushed, with little to no character development. The world-building was also lacking, leaving me confused about the various magical elements introduced. Additionally, the writing style was choppy and difficult to follow. Overall, I found this novel to be a disappointing read and would not recommend it.
2. Emma - 3 stars - While "Beginning of the Witch" had an intriguing premise, I found the execution to be lacking. The pacing was uneven, with slow moments dragging on and sudden developments feeling rushed. The main characters lacked depth and felt one-dimensional, making it difficult to invest in their journey. I also found some of the dialogue to be forced and unnatural. While I appreciate the effort put into this novel, it ultimately didn't captivate me as much as I had hoped.
