Since I moved over a pair of Marker Tour to these, I also managed to ride and it worked, despite the width of the ski and the little wrong character of the bond. Strengths Still rated as relatively lightweight, 2250 per skid in 190cm length with a waist of 127mm which is about the same ratio as my Völkl Katana V-Werks.

This is hands down one of the best big mountain powder slayers on the market. It is extremely versatile given its width, and Armada nailed the flex profile in the 190cm length.

For years I was begging Armada to make a super JJ (fatter, longer, stiffer, modified rocker, etc.). They finally came out with the AK JJ, but it was just longer and only slightly stiffer. I was bummed. until they released the Magic J. and it was everything I ever wanted and more!
I always felt that the regular Armada JJ in a 185 was slightly too short considering the camber profile. I always wanted it to be 189-191cm.
Armada nailed it by making the Magic J in a 190cm length.
Second, the turn radius always seemed slightly short.. with the new 22m turn radius that is also fixed.
Third, the regular JJ just seemed too skinny on really deep days, and I wanted something that could surf a little better. the elongated rocker profile and wider waist solved that problem.
Finally, the regular JJ wouldn't stomp some cliffs as hard as I wanted it to, the new Magic J is noticeably stiffer than the JJ, so you can ride away clean even if you mistakenly land back or forward from center.
If you like the JJ but want a ski that can go just a little bit further. look no further than the Magic J.
