Grey Water We understand that some grey water hookups fail due to soil conditions, weather, or other nonpreventable reasons, but if we have to redig a grey water and find it loaded with food or sewage you will be charged 40. Campground is clean and decently maintained, some sites are not very level or large and some sites might be tough to get into with the larger RV s but I think you will be okay with your hybrid.

Don't count on any decent fishing in the lake. bullheads and sunnys that's it.

Owner doesn't pull any punches, She will not tolerate any trouble makers. (There's a reason why she's called the head witch ) That said as long as you use common sense you should be fine.

As far as Witch Meadow I think we actually stayed in site 186 back 16 years ago in our popup, "If" I remember that area the sites were some what small but level ( mostly because the sites were level to the lake)

A lot of CT campgrounds have gray water hookups. what you need to buy is a 3inch X hose adapter that fits right on your gray/black water outlet on you trailer. When your at the campground then just run a cheap/old garden hose to the gray water connection on the ground with your gray water "only" valve open. camping world sells the adapters or any local RV parts store. there very common.

Witch Meadow has had some power issues with the larger (50amp) RV's, just be aware.

Reviews for "Making Memories at Witch Meadow Lake Campground with the Whole Family"

1. Maggie Smith - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with my experience at Witch Meadow Lake. The campground was completely overcrowded and it felt like everyone was packed on top of each other. The noise level was ridiculous, it felt more like a party atmosphere rather than a peaceful camping trip. The amenities were also lacking, with dirty bathrooms and limited options for activities. Overall, I would not recommend Witch Meadow Lake for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing camping experience.
2. John Thompson - 1 star - My family and I had a terrible time at Witch Meadow Lake. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and it seemed like they didn't care about the guests at all. The campground itself was poorly maintained, with trash scattered around and unkempt campsites. We also encountered a lot of bugs and pests during our stay, which made it very uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere was just not welcoming or enjoyable. I would not recommend Witch Meadow Lake to anyone looking for a quality camping experience.
3. Sarah Johnson - 2 stars - I was really excited to visit Witch Meadow Lake based on the positive reviews I had heard, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The campsite we were assigned was in a poorly lit and isolated area, which made us feel unsafe. The noise from neighboring campsites was also quite disruptive, making it difficult to relax and enjoy nature. The amenities were outdated and in need of repair, particularly the showers. I was just overall unimpressed with my experience at Witch Meadow Lake and would not choose to return.
