I found "Under the Spell of Alice the Witch" to be extremely disappointing. The storyline was predictable and lacked any substantial depth. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked any real development. I had hoped for a compelling and unique take on witchcraft, but instead, I was met with cliche after cliche. The writing style was also quite bland, and I found myself struggling to stay engaged throughout the entire book. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for an exciting and thought-provoking read.
