Tyler Lormel, also known by her stage name, Crystal Marie Tyler, is a New York & New Jersey based drag performer, author, and fine artist. She grew up in Staten Island where she started drag at age 15 before becoming president of her high school’s Gay Straight Alliance, sparking her passion for queer activism. Queer liberation and its history became important in Lormel’s work, specifically in one of her first painting’s made at FIT, depicting Marsha P. Johnson & Sylvia Rivera titled Liberation. Lormel started her time at FIT in 2017 and performed in FIT’s Drag Pageant three times before winning the title of Mx FIT 2022, the same year she started her own digital drag show, Dragging Faery Tales, featuring drag artists from around the world using drag as a storytelling medium. She graduated with a BFA in Fine Arts in 2023.

1. Mike - 2/5 - The Wicked Qitch in San Antonio was a big disappointment for me. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. We had to wait a long time to be seated, and then wait even longer for our food to arrive. When it finally did, the portions were small and lacked flavor. The menu boasted about their unique twists on classic dishes, but all I could taste was blandness. Overall, I was highly unimpressed with my experience at The Wicked Qitch and would not recommend it to others.
2. Sarah - 3/5 - The Wicked Qitch in San Antonio fell short of my expectations. While the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and trendy, the food itself was lackluster. I ordered their famous pulled pork sandwich, but it was dry and lacked the smoky flavor I was hoping for. The sides that accompanied the meal were also forgettable. Additionally, the prices were on the higher side considering the quality of the food. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but I wouldn't choose to dine at The Wicked Qitch again.
