By admin

Piff the Magic Dragon and the Magician Duo Piff the Magic Dragon is a popular magician duo that has captivated audiences around the world with their unique blend of comedy and illusion. Piff, a grumpy and sarcastic dragon, is accompanied by his faithful canine companion, Mr. Piffles. The main focus of Piff's act is his comedic banter and deadpan delivery, which sets him apart from other magicians. His dry wit and sardonic humor create a hilarious contrast to the wonder of his magical tricks. Piff's persona as a grumpy dragon adds an unexpected twist to his performances and adds to the overall entertainment value.

Grumpy magicians are rare since they’re not very employable. “It’s true because I was once that sort of magician,” Piff the Magic Dragon aka John van der Put said while calling from London. “In my early days, booking me was like booking the Eeyore of magicians.”

Although he might not be as famous as his older brother Steve there s no doubt the recent years following his loss on season 10 of AGT have been monumental for the act voted Best Comedian, Best Magician and Best Headliner in the 2019 Best of Las Vegas Awards. Van der Put s career also received a boost when he was selected as the support act for Mumford Son s 2012 tour but the big bump he received was when he performed on the tenth season of America s Got Talent.

He’s so hard to trick.”

Reviews for "The Comedy Magic of Piff the Magic Dragon: A Night to Remember"

1. John - 1 star
I was extremely disappointed with Piff the magic dragon and the magician duo show. The comedic aspect fell flat, with tired and recycled jokes that barely elicited a chuckle. Additionally, the magic tricks were lackluster and unimpressive. I was expecting mind-blowing illusions and tricks, but instead, I was left underwhelmed. Save your money and skip this show.
2. Lisa - 2 stars
I went to see Piff the magic dragon and the magician duo with high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn't meet them. While Piff's persona as a grumpy magical dragon was amusing at first, it quickly grew tiresome and repetitive. The tricks performed were ordinary and could be easily deciphered, leaving no sense of awe or wonder. Overall, it was a forgettable experience and not worth the ticket price.
3. Robert - 2 stars
Piff the magic dragon and the magician duo show lacked innovation and excitement. The jokes seemed forced, and Piff's attempts at humor fell flat. Although there were a few impressive magic tricks, they weren't enough to make up for the overall mediocrity of the show. I had higher expectations for the performance, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to them. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this show.
