Nica is a young woman confined to a wheelchair. She becomes the target of Chucky's attacks after her family is murdered and she is left alone in their house. Nica is a strong and determined character who must fight for her life against Chucky's relentless pursuit. Other characters in the film include Nica's mother, Sarah Pierce, played by Chantal Quesnelle, and her sister, Barb Pierce, played by Danielle Bisutti. Both Sarah and Barb become victims of Chucky's murderous rampage. Jennifer Tilly also makes an appearance in Curse of Chucky, reprising her role as Tiffany Valentine, the former human lover of Chucky who has since been transformed into a doll. Tilly brings her signature humor and wit to the film, providing a nice contrast to the dark and eerie atmosphere. Overall, the characters in Curse of Chucky are diverse and well-developed, each bringing their own unique qualities and vulnerabilities to the story. Chucky remains a terrifying and iconic villain, while Nica and the other victims provide a sense of empathy and relatability. I found the characters in "Curse of Chucky" to be extremely one-dimensional and clichéd. The protagonist, Nica, was supposed to be this strong-willed and independent woman, but all she did throughout the movie was scream and run around aimlessly. The other characters were no better, as they all seemed to fall into typical horror movie archetypes with no depth or development. It was hard to connect or care about any of them, which made the overall viewing experience quite tedious.

The characters in "Curse of Chucky" were downright unbearable. From the obnoxious and shallow wheelchair-bound protagonist, Nica, to her completely unlikable family members, there wasn't a single character that I could relate to or root for. They all made incredibly stupid decisions, and their lack of common sense was frustrating to watch. It felt like the filmmakers didn't put any effort into making the characters interesting or engaging, which ultimately ruined the film for me.

3. Sarah - 2 stars

The characters in "Curse of Chucky" felt like cardboard cutouts with no substance. Nica's family was so bland and forgettable that I couldn't even remember their names after the movie ended. The lack of character development made it difficult to care about their fates, and their interactions with Chucky felt forced and artificial. The whole film lacked a strong emotional core due to its poorly written and underdeveloped characters, which was a major letdown considering the potential the story had.

I was highly disappointed with the characters in "Curse of Chucky". They were nothing more than generic horror movie stereotypes, with no depth or originality. Nica, the main character, was especially frustrating as she lacked any agency or intelligence. Her decisions throughout the film were questionable at best, which made it hard to root for her survival. Overall, the characters felt like filler and didn't bring anything interesting or unique to the story.
