Shifting From Witches.

The stories in which witches shift forms do so with a charm, while the tales in which they transform a person often involves a magical item such as a bridle. She might not be able to change form into a different species, instead transforming into different people, but her shapeshifting ability aligns her with the bogey beasts, out to cause mischief by fooling others.

The Shapeshifting Experience
The process of intentional shapeshifting requires opening ourselves to the being into which we will transform. This is accomplished through modifying our own appearance, conjuring imagery of the spirit in our imagination, opening ourselves to the spirit through consciousness altering techniques and ultimately merging with the spirit so that we take on their energies.
Shapeshifting can be spontaneous when we are in trance, whether it be through deep meditation or other methods. When this occurs, the spirit has come forward because we need the medicine it brings. We can shapeshift during our journeys in the dreamtime as well.

1. John - 1/5 rating: I was really excited to read "Shifting from Witches" as I'm a fan of paranormal and witchy novels, but unfortunately this book fell flat for me. The plot was lacking in originality and the characters felt one-dimensional. The writing style was also a bit disjointed, making it hard for me to fully immerse myself in the story. Overall, I found the book to be disappointing and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The main character was also quite frustrating and made questionable decisions throughout the book. I also found the romance subplot forced and unconvincing. Overall, I was underwhelmed by this book and it didn't meet my expectations.
