I was really excited to read "Magic School Vus" as I love books set in magical schools, but I was ultimately disappointed. The characters felt underdeveloped and the plot was predictable. I didn't feel any connection to the main character and couldn't understand why they made certain choices. The writing style was also lacking, with poor pacing and awkward dialogue. Overall, I found "Magic School Vus" to be a forgettable and unoriginal addition to the genre.
2. David - 2 stars
I wanted to enjoy "Magic School Vus" but found it to be unengaging and lackluster. The world-building was weak and didn't offer anything new or interesting. The magical system felt haphazardly constructed and inconsistencies were prevalent throughout the book. Moreover, the pacing was slow, with unnecessary scenes that added nothing to the overall story. The characters had potential but remained flat, lacking depth and growth. Unfortunately, "Magic School Vus" failed to captivate me and I wouldn't recommend it.

I couldn't bring myself to finish "Magic School Vus" as it simply didn't capture my attention. The writing was choppy and filled with clichés, making it a struggle to stay engaged. The protagonist felt like a cardboard cutout with no personality or unique qualities. The interactions between the characters were forced and lacked authenticity. Additionally, the plot lacked originality, following similar tropes found in other magical school books. Overall, "Magic School Vus" was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on it.
