GEORGE CHRISTIAN “CHRIS” ANTHONY, age 34, cherished son of George A. Anthony and Linda (nee Witt) Anthony; survived by his grandmother Doris Witt; loving brother of Jeffrey (wife Lori) Frey, Melisa Vojtko and Joseph (wife Melody) Anthony; devoted and beloved uncle of Hannah, Bryan, Logan, Ashvin “Eddie”, Leah, Tavlin, Lainey, Kiah, and Carol; dearest nephew, and cousin, and friend of many.
George Christian Anthony was born on April 20, 1988, in Wyandotte, Michigan. He spent most of his childhood in Hudson and Stow, Ohio, graduating from Stow High School in 2006. Chris went on to graduate from Kent State University with honors and enjoyed a career as a successful entrepreneur, working as a known and respected You-Tube influencer and investor. Chris spent the last 7 years living in Dallas Texas. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints and humbly served a 2-year mission. Chris was a great actor and musician, eventually writing his own songs. He practiced Kung Fu and was an avid skateboarder. His beloved dog, Pluto, was his faithful companion and gave him untold happiness. Chris most especially loved being an uncle to his nine nieces and nephews. He was definitely a free and intelligent spirit. His loved ones remember his loving and honest nature, his talent and humor, and recall that he was very giving, even to a fault. Chris will be deeply missed by the many that were close to him and knew him well.

There are no words good enough explain the loss of a friend that brought joy everywhere he went. I had the privilege of knowing Chris through his relationship with one of my closest friends, Linda, his girlfriend. Some of my fondest memories out of college were shared with him. He drove my husband and I from the rehearsal to the venue for our wedding. He was there for football Sunday and threw Linda the best birthday bash I’ve ever seen. Chris had a way of being hospitable and welcoming and I never had doubt in my mind that he made my friend happiness and joy because he radiated it to anyone within the same room as him. He will remain forever in our hearts and memories.
It is with a heavy heart to have lost one of our favorite residents, neighbor and friend in our community.
Chris was outright one of the most genuine people and consistently exuded positivity through all his interactions. Chris made it a point to always stop in the office to say hi or just to sit and chat with the team to see how our days were going.
From many pool nights with other residents and friends to all of our community events, Chris was always there with a smile and made the energy of the room change to such light.
Our team is sending prayers and condolences to all loved ones, as he will be missed dearly. Thank you for being you, Chris!

Chris Anthony (I only knew him as elder Anthony and still insist on calling him that) was my first zone leader when I arrived in Wyoming. He was the happiest man I ever knew and always had a smile on his face. He was a source of inspiration and comfort when I first arrived in a new and unfamiliar environment where I was still thinking I was so far out of my element. I cherish the memory I have of him and the light he carried during my time serving in his zone.

Chris and Steve Martin were a warm welcome to me when I joined the YSA Branch for the Akron/Canton area after my mission. We spent a short time together, but Chris was a great friend to Mialie Szymanski and others I knew well. He was well-liked in the branch by everyone.
